"I Never Have to Think About It"
“I love Schedulefly because I never have to think about it.”
That’s what Timmy told me recently. He runs a restaurant group with over 30 locations, and when I asked what he likes about Schedulefly—or if there’s anything we could do better—he said he’d ask around, but for his needs, it’s perfect just the way it is.
That one sentence stuck with me.
“I never have to think about it.”
That’s exactly what we’re going for.
We’ve always believed simple is better. A lot of tech companies pile on new tools, features, updates, and redesigns in the name of progress. But we’ve chosen a different path—one where simplicity, reliability, and ease of use are the priority. We don’t roll out constant updates. We don’t make our customers re-learn how to use something that was already working just fine. And we never send anybody through a maze of tutorials or webinars just to do something as basic as checking a schedule or sending a message.
Our customers know where to go and what to do, every single day. That consistency matters—especially when you're serving restaurants, where owners and managers are already pulled in a thousand directions. The last thing they need is software that demands more of their attention.
That kind of trust isn’t something we take lightly. There’s real value in being the one service your customers don’t have to worry about.
Before I let Tommy go, I asked him what else comes to mind when he thinks of Schedulefly.
Without hesitation, he said, “You calling every time I sign up for a trial. Y’all actually appreciate having our business, and that matters to us.”
There’s nothing better he could have said to round out the conversation than that. He summarized why we do what we do every day in two short statements.
Eighteen years in and every time somebody says something like that it feels like the first time.
I’m so incredibly grateful for this business and to serve the people we serve.
